Default 306Hdi Stage 1

So as the years insurance for the saxo ran out i decided to go for a new car instead of paying 1800 a yr to insure a furio.

Ended up with a 306HDI that costs £900 a year to insure so much better

And now after the alloys being swapped from the saxo
(ignore my mate on bonnet)

Well i phoned round a good few insurance places most said " 2.0ltr and turbo so no chance" so phoned my original insurance and they said its a diesel much safer has a alarm and its not classed as a boy racer's car" So knocked the price down nearly 1k from the saxo was well chuffed.

Have alot of plans
FMIC
Uprated Clutch
Stage 2 Map
Enclosed enduction
Straight thru exhuast with decat
Carbon wrap roof / Door vinyl's / Spoiler
Smoked rear and front lights
GTI-6 Leather
Lower 60MM

But for the first few months im just going to go for a stage 1 map with decat exhuast

Great cars

I took one in p/x and kept it for about 7 month in end

Was an estate and the amount you could get in was ace

Did 14k init problem free, just serviced it twice and changed drop links for mot! Only thing that a pisser is the higher tax ban on the pre 01 cars or 02? I know the last ones were only £90 a year

I would defo have another and wish I'd tried on sooner/when they were newer defo recommend as an upgrade from 106/Saxo

Not much of a update but i have bought a few things

Carbon wrap for roof/door pillars/petrol cap/spoiler
Decat pipe
Remap also booked for next sunday.

The car standard is only 90bhp after remap, panel filter and decat your looking around 125-135 depending on condition of the engine. Will be looking to keep stage1 for a few months then go for stage 2

Wouldn't bother going stage 1 - stage 2 personally, just whack a front mount on an got straight to "stage 2" Heard good things about that proSteve

You'll love it. Only been a week without my d-turbo missing it!
