Kids
I have just recently became an Uncle on Saturday, already been lumbed babysitting for a few hours here and there.
I was always good with kids, with my cousins etc so I find it easy to look after one
How many of you out there could actually have kids and cope?

It isn't that scary to be honest, it's very rewarding.
When Ruby was born, I distanced myself...a lot, partly my fault but it wasn't what I expected.
I absolutely love been around Ruby, the giggles, smiles, stuff she does and now she has just started feeding herself - honestly amazing!
They are VERY time consuming I'll admit that, but I aslong as you are mature about it then you are fine.

Exactly, it does.
You become an instant parent, that little one is your responsibility.
You will do all the baby talk with them too, trust me lol. Also, if makes me more comfortable around other children.

Yes but at the end of the day. I dont have time to have a child. I dont want to give anything up at the moment. I love my life how it is.
I wouldnt want to give something i enjoy up to have a kid. Like my holidays, my car or something like that.
Id rather wait til the time i wouldnt have to giev anything up and still have a kid. Got all my life to have one.

I would give it a good try like ...
Currently help run a youth project on a Friday night which brings in on average 80 drunk and randy teenagers, can cope with that a piss of cake ...
So surely the challenge of looking after a younger pup should be just as easy!

nah baby talk makes me feel silly.
and i dont think it encourages the kid to learn to communicate properly.
my friends son, you could have a proper conversation with him before he was 2.
it was cool then, but now, (hes 2 and 5 months) he talks sooooo much i wish he would go back to being silent!
