Car wash...
Until i buy a decent cleaning kit of the net, would it be ok to use the carwash at my local supermarket, which ones are the best ones, because you have the drive-thru car wash, and the ones where you just park your car up and you get out and clean it with the big brushes and stuff. Are these known to leave scratches on the car though?

I don't know where the hand car washes are around my area, don't think there any, and if i was to do it myself, i don't really have car cleaning stuff, and i know u aint suppose to use washing up liquid.

those massive rollers, with thousands or tiny, rough bristles spinning really quickly whipping ur car
can only do bad
ive never taken any car through one of those and i never will

I'd go with the 3 for 2 offer on AG products and nip into tesco for some MF cloths to apply polish and buff, I think they're like 80p for 3. The hand washes here are a tenner anyway so I'd pay the extra and buy some decent products.

Never used that wash mitt so someone else can advise about that, I guess that or the megs one. If you're not going to do your car for a few days, get a lambs wool mitt of the net:

Two buckets and a half descent shampoo will do the trick and be cheaper than paying someone else to scratch your paintwork.
