We were told that if we have a lot of references, we can discount them from the overall total, which is good. For my specific course, there isnt much in terms of essays and research. This has all come from the core units.

you dont include refrences in your word count anyway. You just need to refrence everything, cant make any statment without justifying it without previous research, alot of stuff aswell theres fuck all journals on.

How come that copying from 1 source is plagiarism, but copying from 10 is research?

you are not meant to copy from the source, you are meant to interperate the data or statement and refrence that this is where you got the data from for this.

Even if you know it. Such a pain. Stuff all in our libary. Had to research Mies van der Rhoe, Golden Section & Fibonnaci Series, De Styjl, Renaissnace Theories of Proportion, The Ken and The Modular. Couldnt find much at all so had to use internet. Used wiki but still checked it against other sites for consistency. Any other additional info will be appreciated.
