Peugeot 106 gti rumour? - Saxperience

Not sure if this is bullshit or not but read of here a while ago that theres rumours of brand new peugeot 106's left in the factory across the water in france. Wondered if anyone had any thoughts/facts of this 'rumour'? would be kl to get a 59 plate gti lol

the origonal rumour was about the coventry factory and specifically white gtis

being as i used to work near it i can say they left nothing there

Bar the odd bits and bobs, I posted something on here (or another forum) back in May about the big clear out pug seemed to be having. I go past there every morning at about 7am and the train to birmingham goes straight past the factory

I remember thinking "oh there's alot happening over at the old pug factory" and there were lorries full of cages and boxes etc. one lorry seemed to have just scrap metal (however it was all categorised, not just a pikey "lob it into the back of my lorry will ya" kinda attitude).

Always thought it would be cool to see a chassis of an old pug being carried out via forklift, but I guess one will never know.

Also they never officially made 106's there

haha however if you go to the coventry transport museum and go into the more modern section where the delorean is you'll find an S1 electric 106, where the car was kindly donated after manufacture from the coventry factory to the University of Coventry where they wacked in the electric motor:
