Group N engine mounts
whats the benefit?
the only thing i ever noticed was the car just vibrates your nuts off, and irritates you on a long journey!
is it needed for a big power saxo?

they wil help keep the engine more staible under hard throttle, also round conrers,
we get more out of them on the track when pushing the car alot hard than on the road though,

They were a huge benifit on my old car. Made the car feel better built and tighter. Going over bumps you can really tell the difference. If u imagine a plastic bag full of shopping on your bikes handle bar swinging thats what the engines like, but put a Grp N engine mount on and it prevents it from swinging etc.

lolz. Alloy is the way forward tbh.
If the mount you replace is worn, youll feel a hell of a lot of difference!

Ive got Grp Ns all round, one of the best things Ive done to it. Makes the car so much more accurate around corners, its hard to describe but it just feels really solid to drive. Fook running a solid mount on the lower bush though thats asking for trouble on a road car, just imo lol

It aint bad u know! Ive been running a Grp A fully rigid one for a few months now. I think the fact i didnt replace the top mounts at the same time contributed to my top mounts going aswell though. As said with the solid lower the give has to go elsewhere, and i think the give has been my ECU mount

Just the lower mate is Grp A Solid. Gonna run Grp N ECU and Battery. Was a good setup on the ol' westie so gonna do the same on teh 'R, as i obviously dont get the full benifit from the lower with the shagged OE upper mounts which is a daft set up anyway.

Go for Group N Spoox Motorsport
if you fit a set of Group N Spoox Motorsport you will see a massive improvement in many ways.
for a start the engine stays where its meant to be:
1) giving you a much more steady cornering ability
2) application of throttle is quicker (basically the engine does not move before turning the drive shaft)
3) you can throttle off at high revs at high speed without the inertia throwing the weight of the car off balance.
4) less movement to affect drives shafts (i.e. less damage caused)
5) generally a much better drive, low or high speed
the spoox mounts ECU, Battery & Gearbox set was possibly the best enhancement to the application of throttle and handling at high speed i have managed to achieve.
downside... vibrations..... but the issue is minimal imo! in fact it makes yu feel the benifit knowing you have installed these parts.
however... never had Group A mounts so cant really comment on those... sorry!
