How are the roads near you today?
Went out this morning sheet black ice proceeded to scrape the ice set off, 50m down the road some womans car, the back end had slid out. I assume not proper braking technique on ice. She refused to move till her husband came to move it. So 40 mins and I hadn't got off my road yet.
Heading down the road the car had no grip at all! so had to keep ditching it into the snow to stop.
100m on from that a Astra had a crash and was pulled up.
20 m on from that a saxo had a head on with a scooby estate.
So I toodled on home and got the bus.
Then two hours later I found out about a taxi that had crashed through a wall to a sheer 30 ft drop at the other side and landed on a factory roof on the taxis roof. Took 3 fire crews to pull him out. And all that was in my village :|

1 word - shite!
Slid sideways down my estate road this morning. Nothing I could do about it! Managed to miss all the parked cars luckily.
Was ok after that, apart from coming home round Penistone - bit dicey round there lol

Yeah bit of a mistake coming back that way. But the motorway annoys me. All the salt covers my windscreen and my washer jets are constantly frozen!

I got antifreeze in - makes no difference - still frozen
Put boiling water in it this morning and still didn't thaw it all the way down to the pump.
Haha, I keep doing the same. Wait till no ones behind me then jab the brakes to make the snow on the roof run forwards and wet the screen lol

Had the same problem here dude. Only a mile or so from my house a lorry jack knifed today on the ice and hit a car. A person/some people were killed
I walked to work.

Haha, had to get a stranded mate in a village where he works (pub) - Ended up stopping every mile or so wipe the windows with snow on the ground! Wasn't fun as I was the first person to drive down most of the country roads!

You and me both - I hit one yesterday and it nearly swallowed my car whole! Certainly wakes you up.
