Default new low budget project mk2 vtr posi blue

hello all sold my mk1 vtr on friday and ended up buying this one today as a budget project..

its a W reg with 85,000 miles on the clock its in great condition really just needs a good valet, under neath is extremely clean with no signs of rust in the usual places, on the body there are only two 5p dents that i can see so far which i think is very good for a 12 year old car and the interior is also very tidy just needs a good clean and a few clips replaced on the door cards.

modifications:
.3.5inch slash cut back box (not to my taste)
.angel eye headlights
.smoked side repeators and rear lights
.dimma grille
.induction kit
.15inch alloys
.fly door speakers and 6x9s
.clifford alarm system

plans/done so far:
.adjusted the clutch cable
.dewipered bootlid
.got the clifford alarm working
.replace passenger side front wheel bearing
.replace passenger side front tyre
.replaced sidelight bulb
.finish removing white stripes
.good valet as its filthy
.change rear lights for standard mk2 lights
.may swap out alloys for standard vtr wheels and get some standard mirrors

current pics:

Default update** had a very good tidy up fixed all found mechanical faults

spent the last few evenings tidying her up to a decent standard and fixing all the little faults i could find i.e number plate bulbs wernt working traced wiring to find a break in it fixed that fitted the 6x9s with propper wiring and connectors and gave it a massive clean up (im a self employed valeter and this was a right state) its not perfect but looks a million times better!

heres a few pics not been polished yet due to the rain..

will be going up for sale later today to see what interest i get as i would like something nippier than a vtr..

I have decided to keep the little sax for a while as i always end up buying another haha so ive ordered some vts calipers and cross drilled discs and some spax 60mm springs also dropped the torsion bar 70mm yesterday (for some reason its 4mm higher on the passengerside now ive dropped it down any ideas? ) and sourced a new set of wheels and standard mk2 rear lights! pics to follow when i get a chance

Back looks a bit too low...

Wheels look alright though! Think they would do for this year then look at getting them resprayed next spring. Silver looks good on metallic blue as it really stand out.

Still needs a good bit of tidying up though in my eyes, but your plans sound like you're gonna be on with it!

Default now on vtr wheels and lowered 60mm/70mm

havent updated in a while so i thought id do a quick one..

cars now lowered 60mm front on spax and 70mm on the rear with standard shocks also swapped out the old wheels for vtr alloys with goodyear eagles and £50 my way (wheels do suit it better)
Also its been in the body shop to have the white strip sorted on the rear bumper recently.. theyve prepped it all ready just needs etching and blowing over now and it should look lots better! and still awaiting my standard mirrors so still have tacky m3 ones!

looking to get/do a few new bits over the next few weeks..
.new front shocks (thinking kybs as there just a quality standard replacement)
.have the roof sprayed black while its having the rear bumper done
.rear pads as they only have around 2-3mm left now

pics of it now..

after a quick clean..
