neatening it up
basicly i want to make my engine bay look smarter
it realy looks shabby
its a 1.0i not a 1.1
i dont like the look of the standard air filter and that sort of things ...
what could do to it to neaten it up so looks nice and not going to cost loads
and i dont want just an air filkter like k&n
would prefer a cold air fed induction kit
any help very gratefull
thanx in advance

It's difficult on the 1.0/1.1s due to the fact the throttle body is vertical. Most people who do go down the induction kit route just go for a filter and no shiny pipework etc

Just give it a really good clean would be a good start, maybe some different coloured wiring loom? Sprayed rocker cover? Strut brace?

i would say get the rocker cover painted and battery and fuse box cover.
And just but a aftermarket filter in the standard box. Just an idea

There's two types of engines for the 1.1 pal, MPi and SPi the one with a vertical inlet is the SPi. The MPi is exactly the same as every other saxo, with a horizontal inlet.

I was wondering the best way to clean my gearbox... it's filthy, and hard to get to clean...

organise the wiring and tubes?
if they're all tangled why not move them around to like below or beside the parts rather than on top.
Cleaning yes
And the air intake will need to be modernised- currently it is a lot of pipes, you could reduce all that..
