Hey
Im considering putting Led's in my saxo interior, i want to do it so it looks stylish and simplistic not over the top and tacky.. I was just wondering what everyones views on this are plus if they have installed some in there car?

Where do you mean? Like just replacing the normal lights for LED bulbs or do you want to light the interior of your car like a Christmas tree?

i was considering changing the standard bulbs to LEDs but i thought better of it.. But then again i dont want to light up my car like father christmas is having a field day.. i was thinking of a few subtle micro leds in my doors without it looking tacky.

Could change the standard yellowy interior light bulb for a whiter/crisper one.
With regards to ones in the door etc. I think it might look quite good so long as they aren't too high a wattage you only want to create subtle lighting to the handles etc. I presume.
Would just have to be a good job.
Others have gone for footwell neons etc for interior lighting. This can look quite good but has been played out a bit now.

Yea im not going down the footwell route, i want to keep the interior mostly standard also. I was thinking about putting them in the armrest pockets on the door so they point upward so you get a slight blue glow. Operate them on a switch or they may potentially drive me mad after a while.
All easy enough to do

Pointing up would be wrong because then you can physically "see" LED/bulb etc.
Would be better on the inside so you cant actually see the lamp but still get the same desired effect.

I think the blue neon in the footwell above actually doesn't look bad at all.
