Washing a car for the first time in 5 years
I have just purchased an old 1990 White Mini City. The car was last on the road in 2005 and hasnt had any attenion since then. The car is now MOT'd and roadworthy (not going on the road until its been completely re done) however the paint work is a state - it hasnt been washed since 2005. There are greasy/oily finger marks all over the car, the previous owner when welding the sills in got soot marks all over the bottom of the car and the paint work is just looking very dull and flat.
I have a few products already:
Megs Endurance
Bilberry wheel cleaner
Dodo time to dry
Poorboys wheel sealant
Poorboys ex-p sealant
Megs quick detailer spray
Chemical guys all in one polish
Autoglym Bodywork Shampoo
Wash Mitt
Various MF cloths etc.
I shall be purchasing some clay aswell.
Basically I'm after advice on how the best way is to tackle it. At the moment the alloys are off it and they're easy enough to do its the paint work I would like some advice on.
At the moment I'm planning on a thorough wash using AG body work shampoo (2 bucke method), drying, clay, wash again, polish and seal.
Any advise? Any other recomended products?
Cheers,
Matt

Full APC snow foam atleast 2-3 times before even contemplating touching it with a shampoo solution.

Will get before and after photos. Havent got a snow foam - will this matter to much? Going to do the wheels now and will get some pictures. Plan to do the car tomorrow.
So my plan of action seem like a good one?
