16v Conversion Insurance Prices
Right, looking for the best prices on this,
Im 20, 2 years NCB, Home owner and an Engineer, Currently paying £750 TPFT No Conversion - Admiral.
So far have been Quoted;
£1950 TPFT - Adrian Flux - that will be a no then!
Skyinsurance - Still Waiting
What have others got and who with?

a engine conversion will cost you more than a standard vts because its modified

UPDATE - Adrian flux came in with £1124 after I went to them direct (was through go-compare before)
Come on! Some of you guys must have declared your engines!

Defo declare it mate, in the event of a claim, the insurer could just simply void your policy.
And say you hit a Ferrari...

Agreed BazzaC, its only costing me £400 more, a lot less than it would for solicitors, time off work for court and repairing the other persons car IMO!

mate had a rover 25 1.4 n was gna drop another engine in it, he had decided not to claim it n hit a bently a few days after ordering the engine, he now pays over double what he was paying to insure a 1.1 :O
