Think you should be able to run the one plug loom with an unlocked ecu but you might need to change a few sensors on your 16v engine in order for it to all work.

Doesn't the gti engine have two plugs on the loom and the saxo only has one behind the slam panel? for a Saxo i'm pretty sure it's easiest just to use the mk1 vts loom.

yea you cant use gti loom in vts, why do people always make it bloody hard for themselves! lol

your gonna have to buy a single plug vts loom/ecu and then you will have to sawp sensors over from your three plug loom when you come across ones that dont fit

or you can keep the three plug loom/ecu but change the vts interior loom to a 106 gti three plug interior loom which requires ripping the dash out

or keep the three plug loom/ecu and chop the two multi connectors off and wire on a vts multi plug

im pretty sure these three routes would work, someone correct me if im wrong

OR you could sell the engine and just fit a single plug vts engine and make life easy for you

Cheers mate, sellin the engine and getin 1 plug ecu sounds best idea but ive had to much work dne to it for me wantin to sell it n start again, the 1 plugs wats in my car nw so u thinks it's best to keep that and buy a 1 plug ecu! Or is 1 plug loom on vtr and vts completely different, if so I can get hold of a mk1 vts ecu and loom at a cost,
