MOT..
Yes them 3 dreaded letters.
I'm hoping to put it through after weeks of work... Just wondering if it would fail on either:
PAS Pump not working
Gear is sloppy as fook
Airbag light (Im guessing so.. But they are connected fine, how much would they charge to sort this?)

PAS pump im not sure but i think it might fail as it's not working..if you were to remove the power steering (which i hear is a ballache of a job) you could be okay, or just get anotherpmpcheap from the scrappy (would be easier).
Gears won't matter as long as it goes through them al.
Airbag light might be an advisory but you shouldn't fail, mine was on about a month ago when i had my MOT.
Airbag light could be the sensor clip on the front seats, if not then i shouldn't worry too much about it, i know somebody that had around £360 spent on fault finding and repairing it...still on though. Could get them to do a diagnostics test for about £20 usually, just to check if its a serious fault?

Can't fail you for your pas pump not working.
Only things they can see they fail iirc.
Just the airbag light is an issue, you could takethe bulb out and hope the tester dosn't notice on ignition or buy the small resistor thing to turn it off.

Can you still get away with taking the bulb out for the airbag or does it NEED to light and go out?
Or fit a wheel without an airbag and remove the airbag ecu, they cant test it if its not there

For the airbag i've heard you can bypass the connector under the seat as it's that that is at fault.

I love how everyone says different things, clearly nobody knows for sure! lol
My old VTR went through with an airbag light on, was just an advisory but a lot of things depend on which side of the bed the MOT tester got out of that morning

Just to shake things up, i've put two cars through an M.O.T now with faulty power steering and they've passed without advisories.

I think it really just depends on the garage then, the airbag light is on because I changed my interior, it wasn't on before that but seems I may not need to worry about that.... PAS pump should be on its way today anyway so.
Cheers for help guys.

PAS Pump not working = FAIL
Gear is sloppy as fook = Depends on the cause?
Airbag light = PASS (but will be a fail next year)

If there is no airbag light there am I correct in saying that`s a pass from next year?ie no light flashing/on so can`t be tested.

I have been told by a tester,
That there must be an airbag fitted
Plus light must be off.
I have no airbag ecu, so no light
Will just re-fit std steering wheel for test.
