Starting problem....
been having problems with my saxo starting, randomly one morning went out and the battery was dead, just over night. so charged the battery and put it back in, started ok. 2 hours of it being sat there, and its dead again, so i got a new battery and all was fine, un till this morning where it struggled to start, as if the battery had lost power. alternator is charging the battery fine, and the battery is holding its charge. just dont know why on random days it decides to die? what could possible be draining it? do you think its cold related?
many thanks

Make sure nothing's being left on. Someone on here had a problem with their boot light which didn't turn off and was draining the battery every time they went to start it.
Also, are you sure it's not just the starter motor that's on its way out?

its not the starter motor, because when i go to start it i put the reader on the battery and its down to like 4V, so its defo loosing charge somewhere.

Ahh okay, does sound like it's being drained. Sounds daft but check that boot light!

It`s not something daft like your radio wired up wrong is it?Meaning it stays on after you`ve switched the ignition off.Or an incorrectly wired up sub.Don`t rule the alternator out as mine was tested & I was told to charge the battery up,cos the alternator was fine, the next day the alternator packed up.Do your electric windows operate really slowly?

Nothing plugged into cigarette light that doesnt turn off? Even if its like a usb apdaptor with an led on it all uses power although not alot "/ As steve says it could still be the alternator

have you got an amp and sub in boot?
if so, check that the green light is out on the amp when you turn ignition off
