Default maybe its goodbye to my much loved saxo vts :'(

not happy at all! walked into work this morning with a couple of other lads and then being told to come home! been laid off because there is no work and none coming in. so may have to sell the vts if i cant get another job very soon, after all my son and home come first and not a car! absolutely fuming as all the foreign people was kept with a job, why does it always seem like we are second best?

Really sorry to hear this, this happened to me about 2 months back and it is really the worst feeling ever, luckily it didn't take long for me to find something else.

Good luck with finding new work though

dont go down the road of blaming "foreign" a lot of them got kids and fams to feed too, just saying...we have let in too many foreign people overcrowding but to be fair must be a reason they all come here...if we was from their countries maybe we do same to improve our life. unlucky though sorry to hear.

i have no problem with them they are nice people and i'm good mates with a couple of polish lads i worked with. it just seems we come second best in our own country...i just think we should be made the first priority. oh well shit happens

Easy to put the blame on the colleagues, maybe you should look up at who makes the management decisions. As far as know, the polish work their ass off, are on time, leave on time etc. While the English don't seem more keen on getting a fag break before even thinking of having the job done.

As far as the economy goes I think its going to get worse before it gets better. The eurozone is still in a state and I don't think these bailouts will work. Only last week more euro countries had their credit ratings downgraded, I seriously thing the euro will still fail.

Maybe you shouldn't be so judgemental. With so many out of work, a lot of those people who you are labelling crack heads or piss heads might be in the same situation as you.

3 sides to every story. OP side, the other side, and the truth.

not blameing them as such and yeah i agree they do work hard, you obviously dont unerstand how much it hurt walking away from my job with 2 other english men while the foreign was working, i would of took a pay cut or anything just to stay. maybe it was because the foreign was working there for much longer then us and the manager thought they had more of a reason to stay. i was only there roughly 15 months. As i said they was really good lads and still are good friends, one of them rang me on his break to say sorry and hopes i get a new job soon

doubt it very much, more then half of them have never worked in their lifes. and before you say anything it is true because believe it or not a friend of mine his mother works in the job centre and she has told me and she obviously knows by the records of when they last worked

Please don't get me wrong, I do perfectly understand how it feels mate... Instant head spinning about how are you gonna face the bills etc. Not a pleasant situation at all. All I can say is, instead of wasting your time venting on saxp, go and start getting registered: job center, agencies, talk to people and whatnot.
