Tires... inner wear (lowered car)
My tires are wearing on the inside edge only on the fronts. Mainly on the passenger side.. im having too buy two new tires today 195/40/16s which are £70 a pop n dont want them to do this again...
what do i need to get done? just the tracking or is it something to do with the camber?
the car is lowered about 100mm ?

Get someone to do a full laser alignment on it to check the tracking, caster and camber, I would probs say camber though if its wearing on the inner on both sides, But as you said mainly left, probs tacking is out too

Do coilovers normally have camber adjustment on them? or does this depend on which you have?
this an expensive process? or fairly cheap  suppose whatvere the cost it will save me getting tires every few months. pisses me off cos the rest of the tire is bob on

The lupo won't have Camber adjustment I don't think. It's on the wishbone not the coilover.
Lowered cars will naturally camber, mine's at a ridiculous angle but an alignment might help.

I would get it tracked first, if its inner edge sounds like the wheel is toeing out so as your driving along its scrubbing the inner edge of the tyre thus wearing it out quickly.

Raise it - fuck all this scraping everywhere you go / excessive suspension component just so the car looks 'cool'.

i dont like driving fast though (petrol is a joke) so went for the low/slow approach lol.
shame it does this to the shoes though  will see if the tracking helps

you just get natural camber when its low becuase the mcpherson strut isnt perfectly straight to start with. My saxo has a proud 1.2 degrees of camber apparently when i last got it on the laser alignment.
I think the tracking being out can affect camber... just get it tracked
