Default Hi all

Wee post to say hi, recently joined the forum as everytime I search google for something to do with my car it always had this in the list

Proud owner of a 1.6 VTS in Poseidon Blue.

Bought this after a kindly polish lorry driver took me off the road at a roundabout and wrote off my Clio.

Love the car so far but jesus I've spent a bit on it to get it ready for MOT next month.

Loads I want to do and reading through various sections of the forums I'm getting tons of ideas.

Pics not taken by me but I ninja'd them off the advert to my PC while I decided if I wanted it or not.

Since I've bought it the rear axle has been replaced (Thanks to IM Axle), and because of that I returned the ride height back to stock. Was sitting at 60mm.
Apart from that I've had to replace the nearside and offside driveshaft and mounting struts, nearside suspension arm. Knocking noise coming from offside now so I'll need to get that replaced.
All the locks are seized with them never getting used so got new locks for the doors, petrol cap and boot, however it didnt come with the ignition barrel so really not keen on the idea of 2 keys to open the car and start should the central locking pack in.
Replaced the solenoid in the central locking for the boot as it just didnt open after bad frost one year( I'm told)

Things I'm looking into but no real direction as its a case of oooo I like that!
Changing the alloys, saw some really nice ones that are black with a red rim (Unsure how they would look)
Need a new parcel shelf as there are 6x9 fitted into that and I want to replace the stock speakers in the front to some decent components and get a n active sub.
Definitely needs something done with the interior but Ill just settle for newer seat covers lol and upgrade the seats at a much later date.
