Default Painting boot floor advices.

Hello, would like to paint my boot floor (internal part) quite soon and was wondering what's the best way to do it,don't have access to a spray gun so it will need to be made with rattle cans, was thinking about the Hammerite paint which don't require a primer or anything and it's quicker to use, will it be fine or it's not even worth it for the final result? what you suggest? Thanks.

A cheap gun and second hand compressor would cost about the same.

some one mention my name?

My advice would be to NEVER use Hammerite on a car.

They sell 2k paint in a aerosol so just use that, Rub it all down with 400 paper then use a etch primer on it all then leave to dry for a couple of hours then give a rub over with 600 grit. Use a tack cloth to get rid of dust.

Then spray with the 2k aerosol. Make sure you use a mask because the 2k paint will kill you and is proven to cause cancer.

2k paint is the best option because it is hard as nails, Scratch resistant and has a better finish.

The best i can to be honest, don't want it to look like a cheap job,not looking for a professional finish obviously, also,i don't trust much rattle cans to be honest,i think they are fine just for small parts.

Why do you want to paint your boot floor? Have you taken the carpet and rear seats out or something?
