Default Saxo Lambda Sensor

Hey Saxperience.

I was wondering how difficult it would be to change a lambda sensor? I think one of them has gone (been told however will confirm, alongside with if its front or back), is this something possible to do myself?

Another question, would a 1.1 2001 Saxo have one or two?

Thanks

Unplug it and 22mm spanner and it's out. Might need a bit muscle to get it out.

Also, where's the best place to source the parts?

There not cheap, but if it's gone it's gone. What makes you think it's gone?

This is for my girlfriends car, a family member took a reading for her and diagnosed it to the lambda sensor... I'm not so sure it is but want to be prepared. It's MOT is at the end of the month. The EML is on and I'm going to get someone to give me the fault code at some point this week so we can try and resolve the issues prior to MOT time. It'd be good to try and do all the work myself to save some hefty garage costs.

List of codes

Easy to swap, if you use carpartsforless search for a discout code.

Might be worth looking for a good used one from a scrappy
