Hey, just applying for a apprenticeship and wondering if you guys could help me with this..

Mention why you want to be in the trade. You could also compare them with other companies (dont mention names) and highlight this company's plus points that will benefit you more than the others.

i wasnt taking the piss...well i kind of was but your 15, they're not going to expect you to know everything. your applying for an apprenticeship. the point of an apprenticeship is to learn on the job.
personally i would rephrase it.

im 20 m8 and in my experience(from past knock backs whov explained where i went rong) they want you to show real enthusiasm with good confidence in what your doing(but dnt be cocky) show some backgroung knowlegde in your experience with relevance to the position research there company and show you know about them and your not just randomley applying, giv reasons why u fink u'd be good to them and things like tellin them your hobbies help alot, for examlple i love the gym, im a gym member, they love stuff like that because it shows you can take responsibility and dedicate yourself to something etc etc and ask alot of questions bout them and the position dont just agree, show them your interested in the job and the firm not jus pay, hope it goes well for you m8
