read a few threads on here about it also with it being a light swirl remover soo i went down to halfords and got all 3 steps for £16 (3 for 2 offer)

there aint no before or after pics sorry has we didnt have a proper light to see the swirls... but here is the end result...

ps the steelies are temp as ryan has my alloys for his mot ...

also the lack of sun and the rain make it less shiny but im over the moon with results and can recommend..

wax dulls paint after polish glazes will bring up the shine.
Wax is a sealant that locks in polish to the paint. Too get a car really shiny a glaze is needed after wax.

i think you will find this is the way you detail a car,

wash
clay
wash
dry
polish
glaze
seal
waxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

wax does dull after polishing, this may not happen with cheaper liquid waxes i might add.
Using something like megs last touch or a quick spray of dodo juice red mist on top of a coat of wax will increase wetness. On a dark car like yours though creating shine is relatively easy. Leaving bare wax on white paintwork does dull it slightly after polishing hence the need for some sort of detail spray to bring back wetness.

you mean the wax dulls after time? how does the wax dull the paintwork after pollishing?

cheaper waxes can loose effectiveness yes, so top up would be needed but higher end up the market waxes and sealants still look the bollocks down the line. is this what you meant?

ive detailed quite a few cars and have never ever heard of that happening. If i was you i would get in touch with some one like clean your car .co.uk and ask them whats happening.

i did and they told me to use that over a wax just to give it an extra gloss.

I agree with what you posted at in order in terms of dark cars. With my old rallyes wax didnt need any help in looking really glossy.

On a white car the spray at the end just helps it along abit. This is using good quality products too so its certainly not the wax as zymol or chemical guys products are used.
