anything bigger than a ph3 cam needs the pistons pocketed for clearance irc I'm sure a few people on here are getting about 160ish bhp from ph3's and itb's

itb's - around £1000 / £1200 with filter
pistons and rods - £900 / £1000 with matching HG
management - £600 + mapping
Cams - £400 + followers/springs + pullieys £800
new timing kit + waterpump = £100
headwork and Bottom end bored (if going for over sized pistons) = £600-1000
engine mount kit - £175
full exhaust system - £600

that should cover the basics, cheaper to go turbo for the power to money ratio

well you've gotta have a reason to get up go to work everyday and this is going to be mine

and ITB's can get a decent hardly used set for less cash
mapping I know people that know people
followers springs and pullies arn't the most expensive thing in the world if you look around there is always someone willing to give you a deal!
I've got a timing kit and pretty sure I've got a water pump laying around somewhere
and when I go to the lengths of head work and pitons etc im going for a supercharger set up along with it!
oh and all I need is a manifold so all in all won't really cost that much! all these things take time to do so work work work then play

Thanks for the help mate helps brake it down a bit im really just looking for a good setup without having to change piston sizes compression etc so ph3 and which ever ITB's I can get for the best price!

thing is you dont need to get piston and rods, followers/springs/puleys
head work or bottom end work done, or engine mounts

get ph3s or 708s and you dont need any of the above

when did a full exhaust system cost £600?!?! btb wasnt even that new!

car may not need timing kit or water pump either, depending on when it was last changed.
