Jay's flat arch project,
Hey all this is my progress thread for my Saxo!
It's a mk1 eastcoast with a difference!
It's I'd now running a 1.4 furio bottom end with a s1 Rallye head that has had major work done to it which is all on a 1.1 box! It is running s1 Rallye Ecu and loom so I have a larger rev range!
The car has got fibreglass bonnet, orange vts wheels, 266 big brakes, uprated mounts and more...
Enjoy the read

you dont have to use vts driveshafts, you can use the 1.1 shafts, however id suggest using the vts ones they are no harder to fit than 1.1 shafts

yea they do that lol i usually use mole grips (but obvs that isnt working lol) or i use a ball joint separator and clamp the track rod to the strut (bit like you do with the mole grips)
if that still doesnt work id get a hack saw blade and try to cut the nut off and just buy a new nut or buy a nut splitter tool, or if your track rod ends could do with replacing anyway then yea just cut it off lol

well its separated! use need to get the nut off! but i spose i should replace them as both of the rubbers are split! and i think thats an mot failure! so guess ill hacksaw the nut off and then replace the track rod end! i do have 2 of the following coming: brand new vts wishbones, antiroll bar links and trackrod ends! so guess it be all good

its the anti roll bar lol 1.1's have the arb attached straight to the wishbones, but the vts arb attaches to the strut via the drop link/anti roll bar link, by the sounds of it you have bought the vts wishbones and drop links so will need the vts arb, also have you got the vts struts? as the 1.1 struts dont have the drop link mounting point i can screen shot you some pics if you like off the citroen parts software i have?
