Smile MK2 White Saxo 1.1, VTR Replica Project

Long time no speak people, I used to own a MK1 1.1 Saxo Desire which just died on me and felt horrible. I have now picked up this lovely MK2 Saxo 1.1 VTR replica.

Had it for a tad, head gasket went on the M1 in Sheffield and had to get it recovered back to Manchester,

Friend fitting new engine with less mileage end of month so will be back on the road.

Plans are,

Spray some outside trim matte black
Bonnet raisers
Smoke front lights
Take the daft sticker rear badge and fix the botched up job of the first de-badge that only has electric tape covering the holes under the tailgate
ICE Install
Tint windows
Lower car 60mm

Not thought of any new ideas yet, will keep you posted.

Insurance is a bomb in the Manchester postcode for a 19 year old, I love the flat arch but I just wanted a VTR replica in white.

Wut... Because the insurance costs are just a tad different and the flat arch looks shite? Looks nice, love white VTs

It does look nice, fair play to you for buying it, just not sure why someone created it in the first place lol

Yeah I get your point too, the guy who did it botched up some of the paintwork in places, amateur work. So getting the paintwork detailed up, just got to wait for payday to get the engine replaced.

I was thinking that, going to spray the side bits of plastic, don't know what trim it is the one in the middle of the car from arch to arch. Black to add a stock look to it.

Ye think that would look better I'm not a massive fan of having them colour coded.
