Default Legal Advice

Right here goes.

Early last year my sister bought herself an Audi TT Quatro from Audi Themself (Sencond Hand).

Since then she has had nothing but problems with leaking boot, dash dials failing, engine problems etc. And has been very dissapointed with the service of Audi. At one point she saught legal advise and threatened to get Audi to take the car back.

A few months ago she told us she was expecting a baby and she was going to sell the car for a more pratical one.

So off she toodled today to our local garage to get a small problem fixed before someone comes to view the car at the weekend. Only to be called hours later saying the her 2 front tyres (Both of which were apparently brand new when she bought the car as she had different audi wheels put on) Are completely bald and split on the inside and could give way at any min, so much so the garage wont let my sister take the car until audi have inspected it.

Now what i want to know is what can be done as my sister only last week drove to Devon and back to see relative and they could have gone then!

I feel its quite a serious matter as its not only her but a little one that has to be thought about. And in my eyes she bought the car on the knowledge that Audi were replacing the alloy wheels and tyres before the sale went through.

She also had the car MOT'd at Audi only a few months agao and absolutly nothign was mentioned about them.

Is this not proffesional neglagence??

If she were to seek legal action again with the intention of taking them to court what could she expect??

Audi to take the car back and return my sisters money in full??

Some sort of compensation??

She isnt trying to get money just for the hell of it as she doesnt really need it just by the by.

Its just she is completely discusted with Audi and there relationship to her since she purchased the car, and is quite shaken by the "What if" factors if the tyres had blown.

Sorry to Rant on abit just like to have a few peoples opinoins.
