why not just undo the two 13mm bolts that hold the steering colum up to save the hasle of taking the steering wheel off and battery............

it stays on.
Unless you get an airbag hub kit which simply comes with a wire to disable the light on the dash

Im putting new dials in to replace my shitty black ones but i have abit of a problem, ive got one screw out of the stearing wheel, using the T20 , but the right side wont come out, i looked closely with a torch and it looks like ive made the screw lose its thread, so as i turn the T20 it just turns around but doesnt turn the screw, I spend like 3 hours trying to get it out aswell lol any ideas on how i get the screw out?
