Dougie drives an extremley well set up CRX and is a more than moderatley good driver from what I've seen.
He's had a lot of help from very knowledgable people to set that car up too.
Plus, CRX's are for that sort of driving.... Ignis's not so much
Cool for an Ignis, but not my sort of car

tuning wise yeah it is a very well set up car but you dont need to have hundreds of bhp it is bonus but not essential I have been looking at a load of peoples track car threads and the key thing is decent suspension and brakes along with stripped for lightness and harness and cage for saftey the ignis makes a really good track car imo as they were designed for rally cars and done well too a really want to get to knockhill next year and do a few track days maybe talk to dougie and get some tips and advice thanks jenny and a have to agree with you, you either like them or you dont lol

maybe do a few novice track sessions first to learn how to drive your car alot harder and know its and your limits and learn what you need to improve on the car.
also best to start off easy as hitting tracks like silverstone with barely any experience isnt great as you must have seen at trax the behaviour of some people was well terrible lol
car is coming on well just get that cage sorted lol
