Losing the will to fix it now.
Keep questioning is it even worth fixing, doing my nut in, found another patch of rust under the drivers floor when searching for the elusive rust failure on the MOT.
Got absolutely no motivation for it at the moment at all, maybe its just MOT blues but I need to get it fixed and passed by next weds as my tax runs out this month. ARRRRRRRRHGGGGG.
RIGHT RANT OVER.
Got fuck all done over the weekend to pass the test apart from re mount my number plate more vertically and less obscured. Took a trip to the scrappies and got a 1.1 backbox, new seatbelt and boot strut for £6.20.
Going to rip the dials out after work and see if i can frig the abs light to come on on start up then maybe fit the handbrake cable.
Cable tie the fuel filter.
Fit new seatbelt.
Fit LED's to new number plate bracket later in the week.
Gonna have to book it in at the garage for the welding and brake line doing as my dad is away all weekend and i HAVE to get it done this week.
FACK FACK FACK. And its really really dirty. Really just need it to get passed.

Final Update For The Year
Car is getting SORN'd next week and taken off the road for winter where it will be tarted up for an MOT and having the living shit refurbished out of it.
Back on the road in January/Feb time if I decide to keep it when its ready.
This is mainly due to the above post, and my declining health due to worrying far too much about it, getting incredibly stressed all the time and not being able to sleep for 2 weeks now.
Off to go look at some cars on the weekend, then buy one and take this round me dads and leave it :'(

oooo. v nice. well at least your thinking sensibly. mines far from MINT, just working and MOT'ed.
looking to work on other parts like smoothing a front and rear bumper. getting hold of a black mk2 bonnet, shortening rear number plate recess on boot lid
then fitting them all in the new year, as need car for work ect.
