Default what year?

Bought a Peugeot 106 with a VTR engine conversion but it's got some problems...need to figure out what year the VTR engine is. It has Z07 stamped onto the cylinder head. Help please?

how many plugs does the ecu have and does the dipstick come through the exhaust manifold or to the right of it?

The block has TUPY 4 306600 on it.
The dipstick comes straight through the exhaust...but don't know how many plugs the ECU has as the div I bought it off still has the Quiky loom and ECU on. I bought it as a bit of a project...

Will I need to replace the original single plug loom for the Quiky ECU to a 3 plug VTR one with the Bosch (I believe) ECU...or will the 2 looms require splicing together?

sorry mate can't really help you there. all i know for sure is where the engine loom meets the interior loom, 106s have two plugs and saxo only one. i would imagine some splicing would be needed if going from single plug to three plug ecu anyways
