hi heres a little update for you all. iam not gonna fit the 2.3 turbo anymore cus getting a gearox to fit it was a pain in the arse.so now iam gonna fit a 2L
zetec and gsxr 600 throttle bodies for now then my aim is to fit a cozzie.i was gonna use the rear legs off a sirera but that was a pain in the arse to find the mounting space under the car without major body work. so iam gonna fit a de dion axle that the kitcars use ive made one up at work. ive just changed jobs so i have a bit of a delay lol. anyway the rear end will be fitted this weekend and the engine is being deliv tomorrow so its all go again

You're looking at closer to 170 for a stock 2l Zetec (I build bike carb setups and Megasquirts for Fords).
I hope you're gonna put a decent set of crossmembers in for the diff as the boot floor is paper thin...
Is that a GTS DeDion tube?

its the rorty drawing off the net i made it at work. ive just mod the sizes so it fits the saxo. ive come up with a design so that a sort of frame thing welds to the floor to make it strong. and the diffs now got a frame and plate. iam not really after a lot of bhp i just want to get it all done and have some fun. then iam gonna look at getting a cossie engine and bits but it will prob take longer to get everything (time/money). the zetec was easy to get and all the parts are cheap the full 130 engine only cost me £75 and ive heard it running

Not disputing the Zetecs are cheap. They're the new XE IMO. Plenty of ability for not a huge amount of cash.
Don't underestimate the forces going through a suspension setup. Just make sure the welding is A1 and that everything is triangulated to solid structure and there won't be tears before bedtime

Oh, and was that 2.3/225bhp motor a Volvo T5 by any chance? Why the trouble finding a box?

there are only a few that are suitable for that engine and RWD I think. And they don't come on a budget

You're obviously not looking in the right place then...
Volvo 960 24v with the B6304 straight six motor has the same bolt pattern and bolts right up. I've got one in a Volvo 240 Estate as a parts hauler and tow car...
Picked the box up for £120 from find-a-part on the net.
