looks alot better simon!
not really a huge fan of the 3/4 car shots at the top though in any cases usually.
ad shut up about iso at 400! sometimes you need to crank the iso if the light is really crap

on NEW canons the noise you get at high isos is fuck all! daveG irc tested at 800 for fun and noticed no difference.
you have to adjust the cameras settings to the light! sometimes a high iso is needed to get the shot you want! if your doing paid work at some point you cant just not take the pic

On a non-digital SLR you use different 'speeds' of film to adjust sensitivity... on a digital SLR you adjust the ISO setting via a flick of a button... I dont see the problem with using the full ISO range - thats what its there for

aint doing paid work chaaaaaarmone.
true though, i've piddled about with Cracknells on numerous occasions and the lack of any severe grain at high ISO's is a MASSIVE improvement over mine.
having said that i still wouldn't.

Good pics, i'd like to go to Brands Hatch sometime and get some practice.
What do you do when the weather is crap to keep the camera dry?

My lens is waterproof... I was silently hoping the camera would die, so I can upgrade to a 30D

Nice work Si. 1st one is a a bit soft, as are a couple of the SEATs coming out of Hizzys.
1/200s is a bit slow for almost head on shots.
What's the big deal about using high ISOs? Or is it only a 10D thing.
Oh and for the record, the EF 100-400 isn't weather sealed.

Good point about shutter speed with head-on shots!! Didn't think to speed up for oncoming traffic.
ISO - I think its just Ads who has the issue
Weather sealed... Ive got the 70-200 f/2.8 - Im pretty sure I read that it was 'waterproof'

why do people always complain about the noise you get at different ISOs?
why is noise soo important, unless you are hiding in a bush taking pics of someone.
good pics simo! i love the pic of the little BMW

I guess for me most of the shots on my 10D i do are 'pissed mates shots' so I dont really want photos that appear to have come off mobile... smooth skin tones and all that.
