Is there definately a ecu engine mount on your car? Just i cant see one thats all.
Looking at that your going to need to modify your accelerator cable to the vts version i think, i snapped mine a while ago, you can get the whole kit fairly cheap from the likes of gsf and eurocar parts
Make sure you have a good look at that alarm wiring down by the battery before you rip it all out as well mate.
Hope that helps pal.

Wont be going anywhere fast at this rate. £800 is not alot to play with with regards to ECU and mapping. No chance in hell of me finding any extra money than that for a while though
Engine bay had already been cleaned up a biy when i first got the car and high temp painted it which is why its black and not yellow. Seemed to be in reasonable condition back then, but you never know what you're going to find until bits start coming out i guess.
Most of that wiring around the battery is for fog lights and the morettes iirc. Hadn't really given a damn about it previously so will be looking to tidy all that up during progress
ECU mount is attached to the 16v engine too

Monday 14th Jan
The engine itself is now pretty much fully assembled, there is a few little bits that i need to put on but very few.
Heres how it currently stands
Engine mount i still need to clean and a Group N part is to be fitted on the top
Yellow coolant hoses will be fitted upon their arrival
Removal of the old engine is happening in 16 days
Just waiting for the following to arrive:
Gearbox
KMS ECU
Group N engine mounts
Silicone hoses
All of which i hope will be here by the end of the month

As Rush said... A bit of black electrical tape would cover it up nicely.

I wish I had the time and skills to take the engine out. With oil leaking everywhere, I really need to spend some time cleaning it all up and finding the leak.
