I think itll be at that point when the excitement will really start kicking in and itll look like progress is coming along the most. Cant wait to see it actually sitting there
Tomorrow should be great to have the engine bay finished and everything sweet, all painted up etc. Got all day to work on it so expect a fair few pics
Only got a few hours on it on saturday but in that time we'll have gearbox and clutch fitted and some plugs transferred from the old loom to the new one.
Then sunday should see huge progress.

Well everything will be together again by the end of this week coming.
If it starts first time then that would be too good to be true lol, not expecting it to be fired up and running right first time so just gotta take the days as they come
Tracktime for sure going to be doing as many as possible

More pics tomorrow when ive completed painting the engine bay
Most of it is now done, finished a few bits of welding today, passenger side strut is back on and the VTS front ARB is a direct fit which im happy with as i was unsure if the actual chassis and mounting points would be the same throughout the range of Saxo's- it appears that the general solid chassis itself is identical

Sunday 10th February
Been so busy ive barely had chance to sit and think about taking many pics.
Ive got a few to put up later when i get home but the general bits and bobs that are now done is:
Engine in, all mounts in place
Gearbox and clutch fully fitted and working
Suspension legs back on the car
Wishbones and front ARB fitted
Radiator and hoses fitted
Engine loom wired up and plugged in etc
BTB exhaust on
VTS fuel pump fitted.
All that we need to do now (unless any unexpected problems arise) is fetch the driverside driveshaft carrier and fit that.
Plug in the ECU
Connect exhaust to manifold
Then were ready to start it up- so maybe tomorrow we can have it fired up
