Rx-7's Seem Hard Work!
Ive been reading up on Rx-7's and they seem alot of hard work! It looks like they need an engine rebuild around every 60 thousand miles which will cost around 2k and this really puts me off buying one!
What i mean is when your actually lookin for one to buy the engine could be round the corner from a engine rebuild or if its had one it could be a dodgy one. Dont get me wrong that wankle engine is amazing and the fact that in the RX-7 it has two turbo's is feckin porn man!
What do you guys think on it?

Look up Jimmys-rx7.co.uk
They rebuild engines then sell the cars. They usualy use the new rx8 rotor tips which are suppose to last longer and get rid of the 60k rebuild.
Like any high power car they need looking after but due to the fact they are a wankel you REALLY need to let them warm up and cool down.

I wonder how many threads there are about:
"I'm thinking about buying a skyline,RX-7,supra...."
But with no intent of buying.

Screw the engine rebuilds, great car... but not worth a £2000 rebuild after 60k miles.
If you get one, just don't thrash it... as i imagine half the people who own these cars do. Might last longer than expected.
