Not long left to go now (finally) should be finished by Friday this week.
Trouble is though my MOT expired end of last month and i go away for 2 weeks on Saturday.
If it happens to be ready sooner than friday then ill pick it up, if not ill leave it until i come back from holiday as itll be too tight to pick it up, check it over, get emissions tested and then put it through an MOT before i go away
The light does seem to be finally in sight at the end of the tunnel

Hooray!
It's been a very long time in coming then. Were they waiting on the software for the ECU?
What's happening with the AX?

You'd expect anything less? Engine has been fully rebuilt. CatCam 708's fitted with a bit of mild headwork to add to it.

Yeah they were waiting for the software to arrive, which they now have, to my knowledge there have been no teething problems with it so far. Most of the final mapping has been done so theres just minor tweaks left.
The AX has been a fun toy to play with in the meantime. Ive managed to get a full VTS suspension and brake setup for £100 (biggest bargain of all time?) which im currently refurbing, selling the calipers in place of a 266mm setup.
The AX will remain my everyday car so the Saxo wont be used for work, just pleasure

Only a few days to go now until the Hydra EMS is complete, i should have some figures to report back to you all with then and also a cost for the ECU and mapping for anyone who'd be interested in having one too.
Of course there wont be such a long wait for the next people/person in line as mines been the first of its kind for a Saxo, so itll be readily available at request

Glad this is finally near completion willsy, has been a long time in the making.
by the sounds of it the figures should be good so i'll look forward to reading them.
Glad its all turned out good for you in the end, you deserve it for the time and money you have put in to it.
