3M Pads and backing plates?
can anyone find me a website that lists the full range of 3M pads with an explanation of what each pad does?
i have searched everywhere and cant find anything like that. the nearest i have come is on PB and that only has a couple of pads on there now.
i also need a blacking plate to go with the 150mm pads from 3M?
obviously the rep is ready to be dispatched.
thanks in advance

so i can use the 3M backing plate, 125mm, with the 150mm pads?
i was after something more like "This pad has a Med cut", "This pad is for applying glaze" etc...

yeah ste ive got that now but when i got my UDM with the DAS kit i didnt get a larger backing plate so thought it was fine to use the standard backing plate, which i think is 4", with the pads that came which i think were 6.5"

have you looked at polishedbliss page, at the top of the 3M pads page in the description it has a link to the correct backin plate and each pads has a (slight) description to what the pad does
