Bump Strip Blackening
Ive finally got round to giving my car a good clean today as i havent had a chance since i bought it last week. Ive cleaned and polished it and im really pleased! The only thing i need now is some sort of back to black for the bump strips as they are faded/going grey. I would like them a nice shiny black like new. Does anyone recommend anything i could buy to do this???
Also, I need some good polish for the interior so my dash will look nice and shiny too
Cheers

i SWEAR by Megs gold class bumper shine.
Apply one coat and leave for 15 mins and wipe the thick off, then repeat.
i only put it on once every 2-3 months

Is that just for the 'grey plastic bits' on the bumper ?? and the bump strips ?? How much is it and do halfords stock it ??

yea just for the plastics and bump strips mate, i also find it VERY good to use under the bonnet on plastic covers (ecu cover, fuse box etc etc) also use megs tire gel on rubber hoses under there
As for halfords doing it im 99% sure they do, but i did get mine from Euro Car Parts
EDIT - also you can use it on the sunroof surround, basically ALL exterior plastics really lol apart from painted items of corse

If I wanted the same effect I would go look for a valetter and offer him money for a can I buy it by the box at about 50p a can, and it does the job for exterior (tyres bump strips etc etc) And everywhere in my interior and smeels good also as you can choose the scent haha
