I only wax my wheels, poorboys wheel wax is one of the best about, will repel brake dust and make it easier to clean off the brake dust

I usually t cut my wheels after a wash. Baring in mind my wheels are white and brake dust is pretty hard to clean with a normal wash.

After ive washed mine with bilberry wheel cleaner and AG shampoo, i give them a coat of AG super resin, then a coat or two of poor boys wheel sealant. They come up a treat!

poorboys wheel sealant, collinites 476 or srp egp combo all give great protection on wheels. You will only need to wash them with some mild shampoo as the dirt will just rinse off.

I always use AG super resin and seems to do the job just fine, missed applying it once and could really tell the difference when cleaning.

I might have a look at some of these products. My car has got brake dust that is a bugger to get off because it has been there so long.

In that case i strongly reccomend applying a layer of wheel sealant, it makes life a lot easier. I applied 3 good coats of chemical guys wheel guard and now to wash them i just cover them with bilberry wheel cleaner and jet wash off.

Sounds like a plan. The people who had my car before me were a council so i dont think they were ever really worried about having clean wheels, but it really annoyed me after i tried scrubbing it all off a couple of weeks ago and it wouldnt shift
