Thanks!
What sort of figures do you expect with that set up?
Hopefully mine will be a little more bareable than with an xsi box!

ahhaa so i see you turned to the ph2 awsome choice lol hahaha
will see some awsome gains with that, im going to try and put mine on rollers unmapped before i fit the before bodies and predator
with that cam and head along with rallye inlet id say expect atleast 125 mate, a guy on rr with a quicky bottom made 127bhp with that cam nd rallye head and s1 inlet

Quick update,
The car passed its MOT this morning with a clean bill of health, no advisorys and no cat either
Its good to know a tester lol
Next up is to recon my wheels which im going to start on the 4th Sept as im off work for a week. Think im going to go for Rover Gunmetal Grey for the colour, been doing a bit of searching and this is my favourite. I think it will look good!

Its been a busy week this week. Ive had time off work so had plenty of time on my hands to crack on and tinker with the saxo!
My girlfriend also got her new car this week so been busy playing with that too- a 56reg Fiesta ST. Its lovely
Anyway seen as ive had a week free ive been repainting my VTS wheels. Its taken absoultely ages, the worst bit was prepping, i spent like 3 days doing this and i never want to see sandpaper again in my life lol. Some of them had pretty bad bubbling and it was real hard work making them flat and smooth. You can still see where the bubling was in one or two places but im happy with them, a big improvement.
The wheels are all done now and just waiting to go back on the car. I didnt get any progress pics as i was just too busy working on them but i have one to show now.
Il get more pics later once the wheels are back on and once the car is clean (just going to wash it now!)
What do you think so far?

They looks awesome for a diy job bud. On the wheel rim near the valve cap... that just the camera playing silly buggers?

Thanks! Nah thats where the worst of the bubbling was. it did go halfway round that wheel before, i guess caused by using bang on wheel weights.
It needed filler really to make it look perfect but you should of seen what it was like before. Id say thats the worst wheel imperfection wise, and it does show through the camera.

Ive been won over to the 16v side..
Sealed a 2002 vts engine today for my saxo, picking it up tomorrow afternoon.
Im quite pleased about it really, makes sense in the long run i suppose
Im going to start work on it tomorrow cleaning it up. Ive got everything i need to fit it but i want to get a manifold before i fit it into the car. Im also keeping my rallye box for it
Pics will come tomorrow
Look out for 8v engine parts up for sale soon lol

Looks great man - one of my fav cars on here.
Just my 2p, but if it was mine I'd fit some standard headlights and rip the tints off.
