Default Liio Saxo VTR

Heyy just thought id make a thread about my progress.
I have a Black Citroen Saxo VTR mk1 1999.
Bought it for £200 going to get an mot within a month

Here is my car the day i brought it home

I will post updated pics early next week

I am going for a black, white and red theme.
Since these photos i have sprayed the rear badges white, and also sprayed up 3 alloys white. I have 1 more alloy to spray and also the front chevrons.
I have also painted the calipers red all round.

My plans are :
Finish alloys and chevrons (white)
Mk1 spoiler
VTR door badges to replace the VTS
Colour code the bumpstrips and grill
Smoked rear clusters
Smoked side repeaters
Tint front lights and fogs
Rocker cover red
Red hoses in engine bay etc
Lower it 50mm
Saxperience stickers for rear quarter windows (white)
Black petrol cap
Black dials (hate them blue ones)
Ohh and number plates haa
Maybe twin pillar gauge pod

Cheers guys. I just took all the badges off the car now, snapped the bloody clip things off so i will have to glue them in next. Decided they are all going black haa. I keep changing my mind but they deffo going black now haa.
So they are in a bowl of paint stripper for half hour and then ill sand them and re-primer.
I cant wait untill i get the bumpstrips colour coded they look so shabby.
Do you think i should do the wheels black also or do everything black and keep the wheels white.

Just a service, gotta sort the electrics out for the power steering and heaters, and need to go scrappies and get 4 wheels bolts.
Apart from that its just styling im doing.
Then concentrate on tuning.

I have changed my plans now haa.

Remove VTS badges off side strips.
Going to get the bumpstrips sprayed same as car.
Tint the front lights and fog lights black.
Spray the rear badges and front chevrons same colour as car.
Spray grill same as car.
Spray wing mirrors same as car.
Front light eyebrows.
Rear lights and side repeaters tinted black.
Get mk1 spoiler and petrol cap same colour as car.
Pressed plates or plain standard plates ??
Calipers black.
Rocker cover black and tidy up engine bay.
Cat-back system with de-cat.
Lower 60mm rear and 50mm front.
Might do wheels black aswell see how it looks all black with white wheels first.

Ill get started this week depending on the weather haa

Little update.....

I have bought all parts i need for service so thats going to be done by friday.
Bought number plates last night they should be here by monday.
Been on the car most of the morning, took out fog lamps and headlights ready to tint them.
Took throttle body off to clean it up as it was stinking, took rocker cover off ready to spray.
Took both grills out of front bumper ready to spray.
And all badges are being sprayed.
Should get all spraying done by 2moro fingers crossed.
Ill take a few pics 2moro and get them up on here, its not a progress thread without pics lol.
