I managed to get hold of a single plug car loom about a week ago.
Now its just a matter of fitting it, if that doesnt work the ecus gonna have to be replaced

good stuff mate, at least you can make sure this new loom is perfect before it goes on and that will give you some answers if still no joy.

3 plug looms are officially SHIT
The old engine loom had been butchered when i got to it, i did my best to save it and it worked until the car was parked in the snow for a while.
Full single plug vts engine loom & car loom now in posession, just need to fit the bugger and wire the ecu up!
I got the map files off the laptop btw mr anal, we need to send them to thingy for him to convert them

Alex did the engine loom, as the original loom was quite frankly a mess in the end alex said when he had it off.
Got a single plug loom on + might test another ecu if mines dead. Need to get an adaptor loom made up for the emerald as well as redoing the interior loom.
Wiring I am not good at, one look at all my rooms with av cables etc.. shows that

While your re-wiring it worth moving the Ecu into the car? Maybe behind dash?

That was definitely something we discussed. It's not easy...
I took the ecu apart and there are water marks on the underside of the board, doesn't look good. I fitted a cover over it when i got the car but i'm not sure whether it was fitted when ryan left the car here. I did get into practice of taking the ecu out whenever the car wasn't used. Anyway it's a case of getting an ECU socket, extending 20 odd wires into the interior(probably via what was once the fan vent) and mounting it there i guess.

cover was on, as I allways left it on when the ecu was on the car.
Fucking snow killed the car.

the wiper was where the previous owner to alex bodged a single wiper conversion.
Neither of us have bothered to switch to a non gay wiper set up as of yet.
Car currently has no cage etc.. As awaiting fitment of my SD cage + profi SPG recaro drivers seat

Cool car..
Seems very similar to mark's old ek9 at das ring..We chased a GT3, he didnt pull away until the longest straights when 140+mph speeds were approached..
