Marmite VT
picked up a new vtr yesterday and gave it a good clean
- washed with Gold Class
- polished AG SRP
- sealed with Turtlewax soft wax
- wheels done with megs hot rims and tyres
starting spec is
- Carbon door pillars
- Yellow show cage, badges, chevrons, mirrors and interior peices
- Checkered vinyl roof
- Yellow vts alloys with proxes all round
- Lowered 45/50
- Alpine ida-x300
-SPL Dynamics SD-5.2 components with a JBL: GTO-4000 Amplifier
-Toad A101 Alarm
plans are to:
- Take some of the yellow off
- 4-2-1 Manifold
- 2" Race system
- Decent rear shocks
current spec:
raceland buckets
stripped rear
sabelt harnesses
yellow powdercoated vts alloys
yellow badges and mirror caps
yellow checkered roof vinyl
black smoked front headlights and foglights
7 led xenon sidelights
Hid-Direct 6000k Hids
lowered -40mm on spax psx ajustable suspension
heatwrapped raceland 4-2-1 stainless manifold
full supersprint race system with 2" exit
340mm momo wheel + boss
Toad A101 Alarm
carbon fibre door pillars
New sachs clutch
Low mileage 1.1 box

cheers mate its going more fast road ish with the mods and eventually buckets , semi strip it ect just needs some work done to get it running 100%

best bet if you're not confident with DIY modding is get a set from the scrappy or in the for sale section and have a go on them. If you follow the how-to guides on here, you should be fine. They're quite detailed

i think i'm gonna go for it tomorrow lol i've done a lot of modding on previous cars and i think i'm capable , only thing i wanna know is how hot to set the oven lol
i'll update tomorrow if i get it sorted
anyone kno whow much it'll cost for both droplinks , o and could i order them in halfords?

update:
took wheels off and gave them a proper clean and wax
tinted side reps
painted calipers black
took fogs off and currently spraying the inserts
investigated the knocking noise , is this a broken droplink where it joins the ARB as i don't know what a good one looks like lol

Love the colour mate.
Can't say I've seen one that colour before.
It's more of a florecent light lime green than yellow from the pics...but good buy!
