Default

1) With the tailgate open, remove three screws (one on each side and one in the pull handle) on the tailgate trim panel. You then have to release the securing clips then you can withdraw the panel from the tailgate.
2) Remove the tailgate wiper motor.
3) Remove two bolts that secure the lock cylinder mounting bracket to the tailgate. If its a central locking unclip the operating rod from the lock actuator and disconnect the actuator plug.
4)Remove the nuts securing the number plate shroud and lift the shroud off.
5) Hold the lock cylinder and depress the lock cylinder tabs with a screwdriver.
6)Withdraw the cylinder disconnecting the operating rod from the lock. If its central locking, the lock actuator is seperated from the cylinder bracket by twisting it to release the lugs on each side and to release the top of the actuator from the cylinder.
