Canon 20D
Alreet lads,
Am looking at getting a 'decent' camera, and have looked around and I can get these in my price range (2nd hand, gonna have around £200 to spend on body, and lenses if im lucky).
Was just wondering if anyone had one, and could show me any pictures theyve taken, and also, any comments on them?
Had a look on flickR and they seem to produce decent images.
Cheers.

yeah ive got a 20d and its suited me down to the ground until now, just about to upgrade to the 5d.
ive taken some great pictures with it, if i can find them and upload them i will,
but dont hold me to it lol.
worth £200 if you ask me, it may not be new technology and can suffer with grainy pictures on high ISO.
also its better when youve got a good bit of glass infront too.
go for it

Cheers mate,
Just been looking at some pictures on here that have been taken using the 20D, and they seem pretty decent.
Thanks for the information, would be great to see a few of your pictures.

if anything glass is more important than the body as you will only ever get a shot that is as good as the lens that captured it.
im still using a 10d which i wouldnt necessarily recommend getting as there is little difference in price between it and the 20d so may as well get that. But with a canon 70-200 F4 L lens which is a great piece of glass you can still get good pics. see my BTCC thread

20d is a perfect starter SLR imo, it will take more abuse than the plastic fantastic 350/400ds etc....
9 focus points, respecable iso performance etc.....
