how about being on benefits in a shitty house in 5 years time - with no-one looking to employ you as you're not disciplined enough or motivated enough to try at exams and do well ?

I always sort some good things to do once exams are over - helps you to get through them and enjoy things - like a big weekend bender or a trip somewhere cool.

Is a good feeling getting your results and getting good results - opening your results to find some shitty numbers/letters on a paper wouldn't be fun.

Nothing comes for free in life, you need to work hard to get anywhere and it's often very rewarding.

Don't be a bum

ye i know the feeling, but from the start of your GCSE's to the end of your A2's is a long slog of just exams.

+1 it's what, 2 years hard work?? then you have qualifications, get a decent job and earn decent money....the only other option is to become a government leech or a man whore

2 years hard work is nothing tbh.

i've done GCSE's, then A-Levels, now in final year of a 4year degree at Uni, and then got another 3 years after to qualify as a fully Chartered Accountant.

So I'll have done around 12years hard graft and plenty of exams to try and set myself up for the future. You do run up a shit amount of debt at Uni, but the rate you pay it back isn't too bad and gets deducted automatically etc. so not bothered about it tbh.

It's all about opening up doors. If you're not very academic then put a bit of hard graft into something you do like and enjoy. Depends on what you want to do when you're older - exams and studying isn't for everyone!

GCSE's, A-Levels and Uni have been great - its not all about the qualifications tbh. it's about the experiences and good times too.

Just get your arse in gear. You'll look back and wonder what the fuss was about. If you don't you'll be sorry.

Are you doing the edexcell course? Gotta write an essay and everything. Do you know when the exam starts? My teacher is saying we need to hand everything in end of January but I think that's a bit soon and she might just be saying that incase people miss the deadline?
