thread locking
I think that when a thread is removed or locked the mod concerned should make the originator aware of why I know some are obvious like newbies try to get round the sales forum etc but some are not and its also common decency to give someone a reason

Its allready been discussed/meant to happen.
Which is why a moderator is meant to be the last to post in every thread locked.

I always give a reason...even when its obvious. If i remove a thread i always PM the person explaining why.
