I am sure a few people on here have done it. Some saxos were made with the darker roof. Not sure which ones but seen a few on here that I am sure they just took from other saxos. Worth researching perhaps, would make a big difference in my opinion

Thanks pal. The showcage was off eBay.
Well, i weighed the car at 900kg with half a tank in, this was before i lost the splitter and fogs. The listed weight on Parkers is 920kg but i don't know if that is wet or dry?

Right, the update. Sorry for the pic quality... all off my phone. Also the car's rather dirty
I've made a start on making all the silicone hoses match. The breather's pipe's were my first call. I didnt want to run silicone all the way to the carbon filter though as it's more liable to rubbing through so at work i made this little beauty.
A pushfit fitting, which originally the collar's were green, swapped them for blue and used a stem reducer to take it to 6mm hose. Works quite well
And the end result:
Also had a bash at fitting my carbon doorcards. Seems like Bic isn't very good at cutting accuratley though so for the handle's abit of modification is needed. Going to crack on with them in the morning

Really then the biggest weight saving is when people aint allowed in the back. also need buckets and to sort out the rear as I don't like the exposed metal when they're stripped. Will upload pics when I have finished it should look ace.

Dude, put your signature in your signature lol
But anyway, bare in mind when i'm sat in the car, it weighs 940kg. So in other words i've lost the weight of half of me. You always notice when someone's sat in the car aswell acceleration wise so i guess it isn't that bad a saving.

It doesn't seem to work if I put it in my signiture
Yea I notice a massive difference when I am alone in the car, passengers and petrol are what weighs most. Stripping my rear and going to kit out with 3mm hardboard covered in speaker carpet, want a black showcage to go in aswell. Should look good you think?
Tom

Second hand but never fitted dude. I'm unsure of Bic as Toyah's mirror caps took nearly a month to come and so did my mate's stereo blank
