You want the crank pulley to be smaller than standard mate. Might want to check that! Or it will be doing the opposite of what you want.

I've got to run a few calculations
as I can specify the Rotrex pulley size when I order it so can have any ratio between the crank pulley and the rotrex.
The only worry is the alternator pulley, as I don't want to overspin the alternator, I might need to try and get ColinS to make up an alternator pulley that is larger than OEM.

Why do you need to make calculations? Is this something to do with the charger?

TB's will be going I've had them on for over a year now and loved every second of them!!!
If I could have a NA car and a boost car then I'd do it without even thinking !! The TB's will be sold, and the money put towards paying for parts to go boost.
I Hope in the future to be able to afford a nice TB'd rallye for fun, something like a black S1 would really tickle my fancy !

Well the charger has a max rpm of 10,500rpm.
So I need to make sure that when the engine is at 7500rpm, I'm not overspinning the charger as it'd be out of warranty then
But I need to make sure that the alternator pulley isn't being overspun too, which is my main worry at the moment.
I'll put a little spreadsheet today so I can play with the pulley sizes to see how it affects things It's a bit sad but I enjoy this wort of thing
Just uploading pics of the inlet now - by christ it's purple ...........

Looks very nice Ross. Apart from the colour of the inlet! No offence to you, but it really is horrible! What colour was the engine bay that it came out of???

lol, I don't know what engine bay it come out of, orange and purple I guess.
I can get it coated in another colour, that's no worries. The layer of powdercoat is bloody tough, would be great if I could get a matt black coat like this as I can imagine would be very hard wearing for items like ARB, wishbones etc.
Just means that I've got the inlet side of things sorted, exhaust side of things shall remain as they are currently, just need an engine rebuild and a charger plus a few pipes and away we go.

lol, no-one is feeling the purple colour?! People will hate my new engine bay colour scheme iJoke
No, not sorted a buyer out for the TB's yet - they'll be coming off mid June after FCS, and will be sold as a complete bolt on set for the buyer to fit (fuel lines with oem connectors, throttle cable, air filter, nuts and bolts etc.) and I'm hoping to sell the LHD wiper setup I've got with them as no real use to me otherwise.
I'll aim to put up some FS threads around mid May, but I've got fairly major Uni exams then so won't hugely be on here/driven to sell them until after exams over tbh

Bodies and standalone would do the business with yours !! We'll see when the summer comes around had fair few people pm'ing me about the bodies already so they could be sold before I've even taken them off.

Anyone know the standard diameter of the oem alternator pulley? Anyone able to have a quick measure if they've got one off the car?
My new alternator is in Bournemouth

No problemo, all you'd have to do is remove standard inlet, cut the scuttle (I can provide dimensions of mine), bolt TB's on and wire up TPS (I can solder an OEM plug on it so it will simply plug in for the buyer.
Anyway, more details nearer the time.
If you are at FCS I can take you out in it
