Default Ecu advice on vtr

i know someone that has a mark 2 vtr 98bhp running a single plug instead of a 3 plug so knowing this is it possible to change my 3 plug ecu to a single plug pred ecu or would it be alot of work ?

you would need a single plug vtr ecu and to rewire the loom where it meets the dash. Its not too bad of a job but not to me messed with if you dont have auto electric experience

if you want to put the engine out of a 3plug car (wheather the loom has been adjusted to run on a single plug or not) and ur car is a 3 plug (same engine) then just unplug all ur sensors on ur engine sawp the engines over and plug back in the sensors. that should do it.
